1. Are there any CD-ROMs with asteroid images on them?

Yes. Volume 7 of the Galileo imaging set, which contains all of the Galileo images of Gaspra as Raw Experimenter Data Records (REDRs), has the data from the Gaspra flyby. Volume 16 of the same set has data from the Ida flyby. This CD-ROM set includes all of the Galileo cruise phase imaging (all images from the Solid-State Imager prior to Galileo's main mission at Jupiter), including those of Venus, the Earth, the Moon, the asteroids Gaspra and Ida, and the images taken by the SSI instrument during the Comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 impact on Jupiter.
